OUR STORY
Melodic Mind Wellbeing is passionate about music education, particularly for early education, and has a strong charitable arm that brings music and charitable programs to disadvantaged schools. Our mission is to provide music education videos, a letter writing platform for beneficiaries, and a social responsibility section for charitable donations. We believe that everyone deserves access to music education, and we're dedicated to making that a reality.
Our History
The roots of our organization trace back to Cathy's philanthropic journey that began during her third grade of primary school. Year after year, Cathy generously donated her pocket money to support high school students in Linzhi, Tibet, enabling them to pursue higher education with an annual contribution of 2,500 to 3,000 RMB.
This tradition of giving culminated in the launch of our Educational Support Program on September 9, 2022. Cathy, along with her friends, initiated this project through Tencent Charity, marking a significant step in our commitment to supporting students at Changdu No.1 High School and Lingzhi Middle School in completing their high school education. We had previously assisted one student per year, resulting in three students advancing to university.

As our organization grew, so did our partnerships and reach. We established operational collaborations with foundations in Shenzhen and Sun Yat-sen University, enriching our support network and amplifying our impact. In 2022, our efforts expanded significantly, attracting 62 donors and raising over RMB 5,300. This exponential growth underscored our collective commitment to fostering educational opportunities for underprivileged students in Tibet.

Collaborating closely with teachers at Changdu No.1 High School, we meticulously gathered a wish list from the students, ensuring that our efforts aligned with their requirements. Through campaigns and strategic partnerships with cotton clothing manufacturers, we collected a substantial array of clothes. Notably, a manufacturer specializing in custom clothing generously donated hoodies to the students, exemplifying the spirit of community and generosity. With unwavering dedication, all collected clothes were dispatched on April 7th, symbolizing our commitment to uplifting the students and empowering their educational journey.

In 2023, our work expanded into music education for underserved youth in Tibet and we began building our online platform for sharing musical lessons.
